Digital education. Smart cities. The Virtual Reality.

Digital education, also known as Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) or e-Learning, is the creative use of digital resources and software while teaching and learning.

Exploring the use of immersive platforms such as VR-Learning (Virtual Reality) using our VR-Technology allows educators to create interactive learning experiences.

VR-Technology is a computer-generated world with realistic-looking scenes and objects that immerses the user in their surroundings. This world is viewed through a Virtual Reality headset or helmet.

In this post, we will discuss the top five reasons why learning through Virtual Reality is Revolutionary.

WHY № 1:

It is absolutely brain-friendly learning

With Virtual Reality, a digital simulation is created by means of programming and the user immerses himself in this reality using VR headset. The user is in this world of perception and interaction, Different scenarios can be simulated for learning, for example, to illustrate and facilitate medical procedure.

WHY №2:

The spiral didactics consolidates knowledge in the long-term memory.

The spiral didactics method helps to integrate experience in the long-term memory.
In spiral didactics, we believe that we can find content to be taught inside a spiral on several occasions, but at a higher level each time.
VR technology better supports this form of learning and facilitates the learning mechanism with long-term memory.

WHY №3:

Can be used flexibly.

The need for a computer room is no longer needed for digital education. VR training can be done in any conducive location.
Software is made available in the form of applications on tablet or PC and VR headset can be carried with you thereby learning programs can be accessed at any time, and further tutorials can be followed.

WHY №4:

Unique experience of knowledge.

In the future, learning will take place in a radically different manner. Reading books and even viewing instructional videos are less relevant as time passes.

Content is prepared as an experiment of digital education. Knowledge is gained by virtual reality preparation and can therefore be quickly internalised.

WHY №5:

Gaming elements can be used.

Game-based learning in technical terms is when learning is combined with a video game experience. By this, the lessons become more exciting and eventful.

Games can be used to support the motivating impact of learning. Furthermore, real-life scenarios can also be mirrored so that they can be solved in a playful manner with individual skills.

Authors’ opinion:

Virtual reality is becoming an important factor for digital education. As a new direction, we deal with technological progress around virtual reality.
