How often the greatest innovative solutions don’t work. Why is this happening? In theory, we understand how a digital solution should work; in practice, we often do not get the result. Why do we talk a lot about digital technologies in healthcare, but do not do it in practice?
Theory and practice of implementing digital solutions for healthcare. Or how we create digital lab.
Q: Why is a digital lab needed?
A: A digital laboratory is necessary to create an effective model of a future digital project and test the impact of technologies on processes.
Q: What is the business strategy for creating a digital laboratory? Who are the participants?
A: One example of a digital business strategy is shown in the VR MEDICA Digital Project Block Diagram.

How to start a digital healthcare transformation project?
Our practice of implementing VR MEDICA for medical education is based on the following theoretical aspects:
- Digital Model
Designing by all participants of the digital project of the model and adapting the new solution to the processes. - Hypothesis research and model testing.
Metrics of hypotheses and project customization. - External expertise and involvement of the professional community to evaluate the model.
Development of a complex model of a digital laboratory using virtual and augmented reality modules in medical education and practical healthcare.
- List and requirements for premises and set (type, performance characteristics) of digital equipment;
- Integration of local VR-LMS on digital laboratory workstation;
- Conducting remote seminars on digital didactics using AR&VR in medical education;
- Integration of VR modules into VR-LMS.
The project is dedicated to the development and integration on a turnkey basis of a complex model of a digital laboratory using virtual and augmented reality modules in medical education and practical healthcare in the context of the customer’s educational department.
At the same time, both technical components (AR&VR software and hardware complex) and basic teaching skills and control over the formation of competencies are formed when using virtual and augmented reality technologies in medical education.

An integrated approach to the implementation of digital solutions and the involvement of all participants in a digital project will make it possible to make the business as efficient as possible and achieve the main goal of digital transformation — new services for the patient.
The patient in the center of digital solutions. The main approach in the implementation of new solutions in healthcare.
